Nacha
KaMa is a fashion photographer based in New York and Lagos, Nigeria with
a strong background in fashion and fine arts, who likes her photos to
be artistic and playful. Having shot for Celebrities, Fashions events,
Ad agencies, Top models, Parties and creates Wedding images that show an
editorial talent (excluding travel). The multi-talented Nacha Kama is
an image consultant, stylist, hairstylist and also has artistic skills
in make – up. Miss Kama was trained in York College, New York where she
earned a BSc degree in Information Systems Management with a minor in
Studio Arts and at FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) where she
earned a MPS degree in Global Fashion Management. She has tutored
Pinhole photography, Black and White photography, and Digital
Photography at City University of New York, York College. Nacha captures
in both black and white and color photography and shoots in both

the just concluded African Fashion Week London (AFWL). The Creative
Director of the fashion range Uche Nnaji joined fifty other designers
from across the world to exhibit Africa-inspired collections.
The AFWL provided the opportunity for the ace designer to unveil his new collection of Urban Street Wear, '234' which pays fashion homage to Nigeria's international dialling code. The designer stole the night as his collection opened to an excited reception from guests including an interview with fashion bible Vogue. In the full glare of summer, it was the perfect time for the designer's fabulous splash of bright colours and comfy polo's stole the night; wowing the audience with his fresh mix of trendy sophistication and comfort.
"OUCH has been all about expansion this way, and deepening the sense of this brand as both a part of the Nigerian lifestyle and as an authentic African ambassador," Nnaji said. "This is another step in that direction and we are excited about it."
The OUCH brand was launched in 2007, as an exclusive menswear range operating from Maryland Lagos State, and has expanded to include outlets all over Lagos, it can also be found in stores around the country. In 2010, the

The finalists will meet in Lagos on the 28th for 7 days of intensive preparation. They
will showcase their talent during the Final Show that will be held on September 3rd 2011
at the Civic Center Lagos Nigeria.
The winner will join the finalists of 80 other countries and will participate in the
prestigious World Final that will take place on Dec 6th 2011 in Shanghai with hopes of
following in the footsteps of the Cindy Crawfords, Linda Evangelistas, and Gisele
Bundchens of the modeling world, who all got a start to their modeling career thanks to
the Elite Model Look contest.

Beyonce absolutely glows on the cover of the September issue of InStyle. She rocks Dolce & Gabbana on the cover shot and the interview talks about her ambition and her drive, as well as motherhood. But we were most intrigued by the behind-the-scenes video, where Bey is accessorized with snakes. The Who Run this Muttha.... singer caused a bit of a stir by posing with a snake for the inside pages. Some have called it insensitive to animals while others find it sexy and refreshingly different than her usual editorials.

Spice Haute Party- Part 1

Celebs, designers, reality stars and fun lovers were all out in droves to celebrate an exciting night with friends at the Spice Haute Party. The Poolside of Four Points by Sheraton was the site chosen by Spice TV to gather style and fun lovers. The party started with amazing music selection from the DJ creating an amazing atmosphere at Four Points. From 6:30pm the doors opened for local celebrities and special guests. The audience was amused with a variety of drinks and delicious canapés alongside extracts from past runway fashion shows like Arise Magazine Fashion Show, Music Meets Runway, etc which was shown on various 32inches Samsung TV Screens that adorned walls of the poolside. Guests drank fruity cocktails supplied by the venerable Hennessey which, being the only option at the bar, kept the party going into the early hours of the night. And after all, nothing says "Lagos party" like rolling home reeking of great fun and excitement! Spice haute party will definitely be recorded as one of the most glam fashion parties in Lagos!
