Jewel by Lisa aka JBL has introduced a whole new collection under the theme SS 2011 Global Minimalism Collection. The collection is made from ultra modern and cool digital prints which has succeeded in pushing the style envelope from just looking good, to uber uber FAB. Like a popular saying in the Niger –Delta region goes….The collection make sense…it makes a statement –

The Jewel by Lisa Print, Colour and Embellishment theme has evolved from a traditional ankara tale to a whole new movie .
The Jewel By Lisa Global Minimalism SS2011 Collection sees a slight departure from the traditional ankara fabric we have come to associate with the label with. But yet it still retains all our favourite Jewel By Lisa appeal - everyday modern pieces for the ultra stylish woman handcrafted to perfection with contemporary use of embellishments that fuse tradition,through an insertion of the traditional ankara fabric here and there. Quite a number of fabric types are seen converging in harmony in this collection. From jersey to royale, shantung silks to organza, silk georgette ,silks and the signature print factor, JBL nailed it.

The prints, digitally cool textural hues of flint grey and berry; melon honey and comb; mazarine blue and lemon spring;
The Jewel By Lisa Global Minimalism SS11 prints are printed in the United Kingdom by luxury textile designer Banke Kuku (textile designer who has worked with Burberry, Jasmine De Milo and Duro Olowu).
